House Key Cutting and Duplication
We cut front door keys, back door keys, patio door keys, garage keys or gate keys on site at your house. Once our engineer is on site it’s normally a case of a few minutes work to cut a standard key. We will cut as many as you need, be it just the one or enough for the family, all on the one visit. We will match the correct blank to suit your lock.
Being based locally, we deal with a range of different doors and therefore keys. For example, the older-style timber doors in areas like Hoole and Handbridge are often fitted with night latches or mortice keys, UPVC doors in areas like Upton and Newton will often use cylinder keys and then you’ve got areas like Blacon where the patio doors often have their own patio key.
Not sure what key you have? Take a photo on WhatsApp before we visit and the engineer will bring the correct blank. We’ll let you know if the key is in a condition where we can make a copy or not. Some unusual sizes and some older key profiles may require a blank to be ordered and we will advise you of this up front.

If all copies of a key to a particular lock are lost it may not always be possible to cut another one from scratch but it’s worth asking – the lock may need replacing or re-keying.
