Locksmith Chester is a local locksmith in Chester located at 6 St John Street, CH1 1DA. Our engineers have been in business for 8 years and they fix locks, cut keys and get people back into their homes and vehicles across CH1, CH2, CH3 and CH4, day or night. We are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Not only do we cover the area, we work in it every day.
We work on everything from older terraced properties in areas such as Hoole and Handbridge to uPVC on the more modern estates around Newton or Upton, from patio doors in Blacon to shop doors closer to the Rows. It’s this focus in just one city that enables us to become familiar with the different doors we find here in different postcodes.
When you call us, we’ll always give you the name of the locksmith that we’ve dispatched. Our engineers are City and Guilds trained, DBS checked and fully insured, and you should always expect locksmiths (or indeed anyone who you invite into your house) to be happy to prove all of this. Our locksmiths will also make sure to verify who’s responsible for the property before unlocking any door.
We cover most types of residential and commercial locksmith requirements in Chester, including emergency lockouts, snapped key extraction, lock repairs and changes, uPVC door and window mechanisms, on-site key cutting, and car and van lockouts, including car key programming. We also fit access control and master key systems for commercial clients. If it’s a lock, a key or access to a premises, we see it every day.
Whatever locksmith service we carry out in Handbridge near Eastgate Clock or anywhere else on a shop door or to open a lockout, the rules are the same:
- Attempt non-destructive entry wherever possible
- We repair a lock if possible, if it is damaged it will need replacing
- All of our work has a 1-year guarantee
- We'll always tell you how much each lock is going to cost before starting work, with labour, parts and VAT included
- Out-of-hours call-outs attract an additional charge, which we'll tell you over the telephone before setting off
- No call-out fee
We cover all four Chester postcodes (CH1, CH2, CH3, CH4); the City Centre, Blacon, Hoole, Handbridge, Vicars Cross, Saltney and Christleton. We will aim to reach you within 30 to 60 minutes regardless of whether the door is locked at 11 at night or 11 in the morning.
Contact us to let us know about your locks, and we’ll advise you what needs to be done and how much it will cost prior to anyone arriving. Our locksmith service is available 24/7, including nights, weekends and bank holidays.
